Everything you need to know about PropellerJet
PropellerJet automatically groups flights into trips when the layover between connecting flights is under your configurable threshold (default 10 hours). For example, if you have flights BCNβFRA and FRAβIST with a 3-hour layover, they'll be grouped as one trip. You can adjust this threshold in settings and manually override grouping decisions.
Yes! PropellerJet is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works offline. You can add flights while offline, and they'll be automatically synced when you're back online. The app caches your recent trips and essential data for offline access.
No, PropellerJet is designed for manual entry only. This gives you complete control over your data without relying on external APIs or services. You can add flights by flight number (with airline and date) or by route (origin, destination, and times).
The app uses IANA timezone data to accurately convert local departure and arrival times to UTC for storage. It handles complex scenarios like overnight flights, DST transitions, and cross-timezone travel automatically. Times are always displayed in local timezone for each airport.
Yes, you can export all your flight data in JSON or CSV format from the Settings page. This includes all your trips, segments, airports, airlines, and metadata. Your data belongs to you, and we make it easy to take it with you.
